Valbondione is placed in Upper Seriana Valley and it is composed of three big hamlets (main town: Bondione).

The village is surrounded by meadows and woods, and it is located in the heart of Orobie Alps, at the feet of high mountains, as the 3 "three thousand", that are the most coveted peaks for hikers (Pizzo Coca, Redorta and Scais).

Valbondione is also well-known for the astonishing show of the Serio Waterfall (315 m), that opens every year (the dates are established in spring by ENEL - The electic company).

Moreover the village has artistic treasures in its several churches.
