The plateau of Selvino and Aviatico is a small casket of beauty hemmed-in the heart of Orobie Alps.

It is located right in the centre of Middle Seriana Valley, 20 Km far from Bergamo and 50 Km from Milan. You can easily reach it by car or by bus, and it is one of the most renowned touristic localities of the Province.

It matches an important touristic tradition with modernity and attention to hotel facilities.

The zone is also well-known thanks to its natural landscape and the efficiency of its sport-facilities.

You can ski right in the middle of the town, on Mount Purito, where You can find a ski-school that is considered by experts among the 30 best ones in Italy.

Moreover there is an ice-skating rink, that has been used by Olympic champions too.

Mount Poieto, that overlooks Aviatico, in winter offers snowshoes routes and mountain skiing among nature, while in summer the choices are trekking routes, paragliding, grass-skiing, night-riding, quad, mountainboard, free-climbing, tennis, swimming, roller-skating and the adventure park.

There are many events, for all tastes, too.

The "IAT" Tourist Office is placed in the town hall in Selvino and it is opened 7 days a week. The office has been recently restructured and offers two internet points and brochures of the plateau and all the Province and Region.
