The plateau of Selvino and Aviatico is a small casket of beauty hemmed-in the heart of Orobie Alps.

It is located right in the centre of Middle Seriana Valley, 20 Km far from Bergamo and 50 Km from Milan. You can  easily reach it by car or by bus, and it is one of the most renowned touristic localities of the Province.

It matches an important touristic tradition with modernity and attention to hotel facilities.

The zone is  also well-known thanks to  its natural landscape and the efficiency of its sport-facilities.

You can ski right in the middle of the town, on Mount Purito, where You can find a ski-school that is considered  by experts among the 30 best ones in Italy.

Moreover there is an ice-skating rink, that has been used by Olympic champions too.

Mount Poieto, that overlooks Aviatico, in winter offers snowshoes routes and mountain skiing among nature, while in summer the choices are trekking routes, paragliding, grass-skiing, night-riding, quad, mountainboard, free-climbing, tennis, swimming, roller-skating and the adventure park.

There are many events, for all tastes, too.

The "IAT" Tourist Office is placed in the town hall in Selvino and it is opened 7 days a week. The office has been recently restructured and offers two internet points and brochures of the plateau and all the Province and Region.

"Volcano Park"		"Roccolino Park"
This park is placed in Via Vulcano, just behind the Town Hall. It has a wide area for children with seesaws, slides, riding games and a sand pit. There is also a paved area for roller-skating, that is covered in summer by a structure, the "Palafaip", used for concerts and events		The park is placed near the sports centre of Selvino. It offers the view of wide green spaces and wonderful age-old trees. It is suitable for who wants to spend pleasant moments of rest in the natural environment

The park is plenty of benches (ideal for rest and reading), spaces for games and a small amphitheatre. There is also a pleasant "gym-path" among nature		The Adventure Park is an approved course, suitable for everybody and opened in july and august. The entrance is in Via Bergamo
